Pinar joined GMW in 1998 on Istanbul Ataturk Airport Project and involved in a variety of projects. She has been leading multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale airport developments since then.She was promoted to director in 2008 and became a partner in 2011, jointly responsible for the management of the practice.
After a brief post graduate experience in Turkey, Ali took up permanent residence in London and joined GMW, where he later became a partner in 1984 and a senior partner in 1991 responsible for joint management of the practice and leadership of design projects.
Following the completion of the New International Terminal at Istanbul Atatürk Airport that brought him back to Turkey, he established GMW MIMARLIK.
In 2005, he stood down as a partner of the London practice and shares his time between London and Istanbul.
Since joining GMW Mimarlik in 2003, Dicle has been involved in a variety of projects with particular responsibility for managing the design process and leading multi-disciplinary teams on transportation projects. She became a Director in 2008 and an Equity Partner in 2011 taking on additional responsibilities in the joint management of the practice and business development.
